Not for any particular build I have in mind...just trying to get an idea of what might have worked for someone. I keep thinking that it's complicated, but simple if the right tools or calculations…Continue

Well, I nodded off and before you know it, it was too late to go. Next Sunday for sure.

I know it is Father's Day and all that, but since I am here by myself anyway, with no family within hundreds of miles, I was thinking about checking out the Bangkok Blues place tonight and see what it is like. If anyone thinks they might like to join me, let me know.

And I also have 2 of my builds with me that I can bring along if someone who actually knows how to play wants to give them a test strum.

I also have one of those little Marshall Micro stacks, and I could make sure I have plenty of 9v batteries.

Ben, I'm in Rehoboth - we should have a DC road trip to the beach!!! Frog Pond is a good place to go here....

If we do go in the direction of outside gatherings at some point, I do have a CBA and a Pignose amp that can both run on 9 volts. Nothing huge for volume, but they sound pretty clean.

Of course it counts! My family is all at Bethany this week but due to our massive amounts of snow...I'm still finishing up the public school year.

Jim, you've got a point. I'm all about the acoustic thing but I know what you're talking about. Maybe some Honeytones or maybe Bangkok Blues will have us early.

Hi everyone - I am a 28 year DC alumni but moved to the shore - does that still count? I still own a condo in Arlington.... and make it back there quite often for business and for fun. Glad to see this group get off the ground!
