My scale is 28" and Im going to make an interchangeable fretboard, one for normal guitar fretting, Im using wfret to print a template for 30 frets but I think only 24 or so are going to fit  (with wfret it seems that I need to print with no margin on the page at all right?) and another board for dulci fretting.
My question is, which frets from that template do I omit for the dulci fretboard? I can use the same template and just omit frets right? or do I have to make a different template to fit the 6.5 fret I read about?
Thanks

Don't know the answer for the Dulci question...

but I've been toying with the idea of "bolt on" (screw actually) fretboard's so I could have fretless/fretted/dulci in one box. I'd be interested in pics of your progress once you get it figured out...
You don't omit any on a dulcimer. But compared to the frets on a standard guitar you would omit the 1,3,6,8, 13, 15, 18, 20, 23 frets. :-)
