I've complete my third small batch of pickups and could use some feedback(yeah!)
Which pickup looks most appealing to you? The top is latest pickup that I spent additional time cleaning the pickup to new, bare steel and then blueing the finish with heat. The bottom pickup was treated a little less and the tabs are painted black.
Waddya think?
Thanks,

Wade

they would both look good on a CBG Wade  tho'   i'd go for bare metal every time ;-)

They both have their place... The blued one would rust nicely for an aged look...

I put a thin coat of automotive clear laquer on the top one to keep the rich look longer

can't  tell   by  photo  .. please  send  them  to  me  to   inspect  closer

 ;-}

  but  i  like  the  bottom  one  ;-)

Ha ha!

Both are quite appealing.

Both.

Like them both. Copper or brass or nickle would look good too.

I like them both - details of the builds?????

I prefer the top, but both are nice... don't what to buy one of these yet untill I have room on the bench for a project to put one on, but I will soon...

They both look really good.  You could also chrome plate them and have a super-shiny version :-)

I hope that your venture is successful as you've created something that fits in really well with the vintage feel of a lot of CBGs.

Thanks- just like building CBG's it a labor of love. I actually don't want to get too busy or I'll have no time to build!
