Shane Speal Hides Four New Cigar Box Guitar Lessons Inside His Kickstarter

Shane Speal just announced a crowdfunding campaign for his next cigar box guitar album, Stay Primal.  The campaign also launches a second "Best Of" album from his solo recordings.

It's just been revealed that Speal has recorded four instructional videos for cigar box guitar and hidden them inside his IndieGoGo campaign:

  • EEB Tuning Secrets
  • Further Adventures in Beating the Crap Out of Your Cigar Box Guitar (a.k.a. "Rhythmic Playing.")
  • and two videos on how to play his cigar box guitar version of Jimi Hendrix's "I Don't Live Today."  One video shows the rhythm guitar and the other demonstrates licks from the solos.

A fifth video also appears, with Speal showing off his beat-up Macanudo cigar box guitar that he's been playing for more than two decades.
