Sanding Frets

Everyone may already know this but if not, well... When I make frets out of something other than fret wire this is what I use to rough sand then down to the height I want them. It works better for me than an electric sander because I don't get carried away and go too far. I have made several of these of various sizes for boat building. This is the smallest and it worked great. I may make one a little smaller and narrower just for frets. Using spray on adhesive makes it pretty easy to change the grade of sand paper is wanted.
