My first fret less cbg done.
I'm using d'adaroio xl electrics. .013 .017 .026. Should I have used stings 3 4 5 ( 17 26
And .036 instead? I have 2 pea disc glued under the top buy the bridge and get very little sound
On my clean setting on the amp but works good on the dirty channel is this normal . I do get some feed back when
The gain is cranked is this normal or would covering them in hot clue cut it down some . Next build will be a 4 string fretted.

The string size and tuning are also related to the scale lenght. But in any case, it should not have an effect of if it stays in tune or not.
Your coming in a little broken and distorted with regard to clean vs. dirty channels. As for the feed back. Yeah, that is normal. For me anyway.

String gauge is the players choice , but 5 4 3 strings is the usual to use as your not overtuning the strings just detuning the A to G , how much strings have you wound round the tuners ? also i'd let the strings settle for a few days , also keep the guitar in the same room as well as temperature is a factor , I use a 24 . 32 . 42 gauge strings .
