Gimme Microphone

My DIY project.

Shure R198 mic insert, tomato paste can, rubber pipe sleeve, screen mesh sound hole cover.

~$36 spent so far.

Just have to solder on a volume pot, cable and assemble.

Need a name for my new mic.

I`m doing a custom order right now, taking out the guts from an old Shure bullet mic and sticking them in one of my carved bone/ exotic wood mic bodies. This one has a Bourn volume pot in it...smallest pot i ever saw about 1/2" square and a 1/4" thick with a regular size post. But an expensive pot...checked on line and they go for 7 bucks a piece.
