People not from the South Eastern US probably will not know what our Beach Music really is.
Anyway, General Norman Johnson was a friend of mine going back to the 1960's. I played bass behind him on 100's of gigs. Back then he had a group known as the Showmen. I will miss him but his music will live on.

general johnson had a tremendous voice and had a super band beside him. the 'showmen' were a super a band in da day. sure will be a sad at the shag club. 'no more time general'
