Dave passed away on Friday AM, 9/17/21. Thanks for all the well-wishers before and after his passing.

Dave, a friend to many on CBN and a good old rascal has been ill and AWOL from CBN.

One of his home town (Duluth, Minnesota) friends messaged me today on FB and told me that his condition has been worsening.

Dave hurt his back a while back and then got some better and went to music event with friends he had not seen for a while due to Covid.   Dave was joyous to go.   Shortly after that event, Dave got Covid.

I thought Dave had got his vaccinations, but I may be wrong about that.   The poor guy also got hit very hard this year with the death of a loved one.

Dave is a generous giver of his talents in music, CBG building, drawn and painted art, and pottery and SLIDE making.   He is known to draw cool art on packages he mails -such as slides and pottery.

Prayers and good thoughts may be a big help.  Also include his sweet wife, Yannis.

Dave Lynas's home town (Duluth) friend, Tony, was kind enough to tell me that Dave's condition is declining, but he has his son and Yanis and friends with him most of the time.

Thx Uncle John. Continuing to pray for Dave and his wife and family. -Glenn

Thank you for the update UJ. I've been thinking about Dave. He has told us a great story over the years with all of his posts. Many a great pic to cheer us up.

Friday AM.   Dave has not been awake for much of a day.  The family thinks the end is near.

Tony says Dave wanted some instruments bequethed to CBN friends.  Isn't that like Dave.

Just me thinking, that will be hard and and a bit of a hastle for Yanis or family.

Thanks for the update John. God Bless Dave and God Bless his Family.

Prayers for Dave, family and friends. He built some of the coolest guits, of anybody on here.

Dave you are CBN's Folk Art Wizard. Your Art inspires us. Thank you for your kind comments. Our Thoughts are with you and your Family.    Thanks for keeping in touch for us John.

Thanks for the update.Sad news.Sending peace his way....He has always been  a great ambassador for CBN.

Praying for Dave and his family. He is so creative and generous with his work. I have gleaned a lot just browsing his pix here on CBN.

Well... needless to say, this is some very sad news. I have been thinking about Dave a lot lately and I keep wondering if there's something we (CBN) can do to let his family know how much he meant to us.

I’m with PoornessStudios. I don’t know what it is, but I’m for doin’ something. Dave’s a special kinda man.

Dave passed away and left this life on Friday morning.

I hope we see him on down the road.

Good thoughts  and blessings on so many who cared about him.  He was a treasure for us to have known.

Remember his wit, kindness and generosity.    Carry it on...
