Cheap hardwood source

If there is a Habit for Humanity RESTORE in your area, check it out for hinges, hardware, used stuff, and hardwood. I found  all the mahogany 3" strips I could ever want for $18, Canadian maple hardwood flooring for a buck apiece, etc, 2 gal oil can 50 cents.  It's worth looking at and the inventory from donors is ever-changing. Picked up an old Craftsman scroll saw that worked just fine after cleaning, greasing and adjustments for $5. The deals are there.

I'm smacking myself for not checking the one that's like 2 miles from my house.  I've only gone in the past looking for remodeling items.  I haven't been since I started building.

I forgot all about them, same here, only used them for some remodeling. I've been wanting some mahogany badly.
