The number has been disconnected. 618-780-8936. No return emails. He has got $450.00 of my money since last November. Bad deal. He has my email address. Just a note to say he has been delayed would be fine. I feel like I have been had. It's really strange that the website is still up. Buyers beware! Got scam written all over it.

Well, I sent them the 5th email on the status of my order, and requested a refund.  And no reply.  Out of frustration, I filed a dispute with Paypal for the original transaction(s), Paypal told me that since the dispute was for a transaction beyond their 180 day resolution limit, there is nothing they can do to resolve the issue.

 

There is a website called www.ic3.gov that does allow a buyer to report fraudulent activity.  I will wait a few days, then pursue this avenue for resolution. Or to maybe prevent others from getting into the same situation.

 

All I want to do is play my guitar and make some music!

I have experienced exactly the same scenario. I ve missed my window to pursue a refund through paypal too.

Really disappointing all I want to do is play cbg. Did My research and based on good reports of back porch mojo i decided to order from them. Quick reply when making my order, within 2 hours. Once I had paid my money nothing. I have sent at least 5 emails with one reply a few weeks ago saying it was in the post.

I'd understand if there was a backlog of work but no communication indicates to me that nothing is going on.

Really disappointing only found out about cbg's a few months ago as its not very well known in australia yet.

Looks like my money is down the drain at time when I don't have much.

Just got home tonight to find an email from Darren appologizing for the delay. He said he would either give me a refund, or continue working on my guitar. I now am thinking on how to proceed.  I am relieved that he is going to make right on this deal. I am not counting my chickens, but looks like steps in the right direction. I hope you have the same Result. Shoot him an email again from their website.

Well Richard if you were to look more closely at everything on here You would have seen that Darren explain to all what has happened in his life. The man has had health problems and has had to look for a new job and is away from home alot. He told all on here that he would make it right with everyone as fast as possible. I just hope that the day never comes when you have a situation like Darren have someone put you down. Even though he told you he would make it right you continue to put the man down even when others tried to tell that he was a good man. I'm not even a friend of Darrens but I do know that he has always done right. Give hime time, you say youyr glad he's going to make things right them make a statement your not counting your chicken. Do you think everyone on here is lying when they say Darren is a good man. Come on things happened he had no control over, give the man a break he told you he'll make it right.

I have to say that Darren is possibly the coolest cbg friend I have...i have bought and recived several guitars from him...he is a great and honoralble person!

 

i understand your anxiousness too, and to pay and wait months does hurt. But If he said its gonna be right...you can take that to the bank...Or as they say on the CBG foum, you can plug that into a tin amp!

bummer i read cutting back thing after he built my neck a 3 piece maple oak f. board and sycamore lam on reverse strat super fast delivery it was assemble and fret youtself but answerd all emails he was accomodating we were tossin ideas great guy hope it works out and his health is a big concern but he should shoot refund or at least talk thats bad biz he is burying himself Slim

Howdy Nation,

   Darren Dukes of Back Porch Mojo is going out of the CBG bizz, but I just got one of his builds today.    It is the Keni Lee signature model and it is a FINE CBG.   Shipping from an ebay purchase was a little slow, 13 days.  But this git is fine.  Dang it, the finish is better than my own and there are some very good things about it.  I will post a video tonight.
