I've searched the web and lots of people are saying they are good to use and last a long time, one person said he's had them on almost 2 years with not problems.

I was wondering, has anyone here used inlay stickers for cbg, are they any good?

Ones I found are: http://www.inlaystickers.com/servlet/the-Fret-Markers/s/101/Categories

The website states they are ''easily removed''. Does that mean they'd need a coat of lacquer if you wanted them to stay put whilst bending strings?

I'm interested in the answer to this too.  I'm making one for someone's 40th and have seen a couple of great inlay sticker designs for it.

i use seashell 5mm inlaid dots on the edge of the neck normally, they shine out like little beacons!  they are very satisfying if you get 'em on right, drill a hole, a blob of superglue - i don't know how they fit those fancy batwing etc. inlays though...stick-on dots should work fine if they're well lacquered over and should last for years! (-:

i use dummy temporary stick-on coloured spots on my necks, sometimes it's easy to miss a fret when playing live or recording, they make sure i don't!

I have tried to use inlay stickers before .  I really didn't like the way they felt , slightly raised above the fingerboard .  They do seem to stay put and do remove easily . I suspect that they would wear out over time and need to be replaced , unless you cover them with polyurethane . The ones I tried held up to being sprayed with polyurethane   I really don't like polyurethane on a fingerboards either .    That being said..... give them a try if you want !  They do look cool and I have strong opinions !!

Thanks all, I'm going to get some and I'll let you know how they come out.

Oh wow, they sure do look cool. I had no idea there were so many to choose from. Looks like a must try to me!

I've used them with no problem. I sprayed poly over them.

I ordered some....they should be coming in any day now.

I ordered some 'Pacman' style inlays to make a gamer themed guitar for someone.  I can't wait to get them on (got to build the damn thing first).

False Bottom build - finished

I put on some inlay stickers recently and with some lacquer on top they seem pretty good.

Very nice, I got my in just in time for the weather to get really cold, now I'm not working in my shed outside for a while until i can get a heater so I can't tell how they will come out yet.
