Anyone know what this is?
It has 10 strings, 7 of the strings come up through the neck. I have never seen this before. It is played with a bow. My wife got this for me for my birthday. She had no idea what it was but new I would love it.

Looks like a type of sarangi from India part of the Vitat family. got this on google images.

Yes its a sarangi. Should have an elephant shaped bridge.
