for $150 doesn't seem to bad,considering what some cbg are selling for.

I don't know if I'd buy one, but I might try my hand at making one. I think you'd be able to get the basic shape by using a bending iron. The top and bottom could be solid wood, thick veneer, or thin plywood. The remainder is straight up CBG building. Perhaps a winter project in the making.

It is intended as a kids learning music type instrument. Lots of Loog stuff scattered about on this site if you search it, including some Keni Lee Burgess videos. Gretsch even tried to go after them because they offer a rectangular model! Think the guy behind Loog is on this site somewhere, but I don't remember his name...
