Here is #008 made from an old metal antifreeze can. This one has a nice "plunky" sound. Beech neck, walnut with ebony veneer fret board, oak plug in can with sound holes. On to #009 before it's to cold to work in my shop!

Love it.  Great combo of old and new.   Beautiful.  A near ten.   Great setting and pic.   The one thing I would do would be to relic the saddle so it would be old on the bottom and new on the top.
