Where to get good price on Double Bass strings?

Long story short I need to find some strings for my stand up bass that are about 60" long. (Long story/build HERE.) Any ideas? Some of the internet sites I've perused were selling them at $100+!! Can't bare thinking about playing and taking the chance of breaking one of those!

I've looked at our sponsor's site but I don't see any long enough.

thomann.de sells Stagg and Harley Benton upright bass string sets for 29 EUR.

Absolutely not the best stuff ever, but for a civilized price.
