Resonator Cigar Box Guitar request

Hi Cigar Box Builders

I am looking to purchase a budget priced resonator 4 string CBG that is similar ish to the one attached

For two reasons:

1) to play and enjoy

2) to deconstruct and see how it is done!

Anyone ever made one and would like to construct?

Ideally it would have sound control on the box too.

Please send quote and estimated time it would take.

I've made number of reso box guitars...but they aren't what I'd call 'budget'! The construction will vary depending on what sort of cone you are putting in, whether it's simple coffee can lid or a spun aluminium cone.

Depending on specification, but they start around the £300 mark ("Continental" uke cone as standard)...and upwards depending on the spec/materials/pickup etc.

I would not sell one knowing it was going to be dissambled. There is enough info here to get you thru a build without destroying some one else's hard work.
