so about that piezo/volume/TONE/Jack diagram?
The one from Wild Rover? Most any wiring would work about the same sorta. I use Seymour Duncan diagrams a lot or from StewMac. My latest build which has two humbuckers, dual switches and dual tone controls is kinda a Frankenstein build based on putting the tone in front of the volume (from what I understand, tone is usually after the volume control and is used to bleed off the high end as it gets into the volume. Provides a quicker path to ground thus works).
I don't know too many folks that put a tone control on a piezo BUT it does sound like it would be an option. Instead of a volume, you are bleeding off the high end and letting the amp do the volume. But you can do the same thing with tone at the amp anyhow which is prolly what you're gonna do anyhow. I have built with volume only on the box and left tone to the amp.

I see an increasing number of amp builders, mostly using batteries for power. Why not have the option of a wall-wart too?
The DC Jack is a common item, available at all half-decent electronics stores.
The size used is 2.1mm as this is the standard Boss (et al) size adapter.

What drawings can't you understand, Jim?
I reckon if you asked nicely, you could get any drawing you needed, custom or otherwise, right here.

Wild Rover - how does the impedence mismatch between the mag pup and the piezo pan out in your setup?

Lil help please!
Looking to do something similar to the diagram above using a piezo instead of 2 pups.
Mag pup (Harrison)--piezo--3 way--volume--jack.
Can I replace the second pup in the diagram above (the bottom one in this case) with a piezo?
Any input or tips about using this configuration would be much appreciated. Pros and cons?
