Wayfinder, thank you so much... I did as you said and the buzz was coming from the nut. I pressed down onto the string straight down onto the nut where it seats and boom! No buzz! Now, any ideas on how to get it seated better?

try a different thread on the bolt or take a needle file ti the thread the string is in . there must be some spur of metal preventing the string from seating properly.

Thank you to both of you. I got it... sounds great now. My guide screw at the nut was merely guiding the string as it was supposed to. I tightened it down to put downward pressure on the string and that fixed it. I feel silly that it was such a simple thing. Thank you guys!

Its not silly to learn the value of string break angle over the nut and bridge first hand, it's called experience.

we all have lots of 'experience' lol
