Thats awsome.

Thanks.

cool, this is inspiring to me due to the fact I have a small tobacco tin in that shape, now I know what I want to make with it.

Sweet!

I'm not sure whether this qualifies as a baritone ukelele or a tenor guitar. I modeled it after the three-string McNally "strum stick" but used four strings and a 21" scale. I tune it to ADGB and play it like a guitar. It's built from a single 1x2" of poplar for the neck and body sides, with 1/16" birch plywood for the front and back, and a 1/4" thick slat of maple for the fretboard. I wanted something light and portable, so it's headless, with inline tuners made from 1/4" aluminum stock and an aluminum C-channel to hold them in place.

An early instrument for me this Uke made from a plastic tambourine.

I removed the jingles made the neck and used a dowel with some blocks inside to re-enforce it.

love it!

my favorite uke i've built thus far. poplar neck, rosewood fingerboard and a cool Stickney-Hoelscher box from St. Louis. baritone scale with rear facing soundhole
