Comment by Will King on February 8, 2016 at 9:07am: The Sacramento Area Cigar Box Guitar Workshop is meeting this Sunday, February 14th at 1pm at the Strum Shop, 408 Roseville Square, Roseville, CA 95678. Bring your Gits for a show & tell and we will have a contest for some nice prizes. To win one of the prizes, you have to play one of the instruments in the picture: a Diddley Bow; Ukulele; Tin Drum or Kazoo. There will be a prize for each best played instrument. It is Valintines Day, but that's all we got.

Comment by Will King on November 5, 2015 at 11:58am: Barnes & Noble Bookstores all around the country are having a Mini Maker Faire in their stores this Friday, Saturday and Sunday Nov 6 thru 8. They have one hour presentations by any hobby group so that they can sell their books on the subject. B&N sells four CBG building & playing books. The Sacramento Area CBG Workshop will be at the Roseville B&N at 1pm on Saturday, Nov 7th.
