We are organizing a CBG workshop held one Saturday a month at the 61 roadhouse & kitchen in Webster Groves MO. (St. Louis Area).  This is also the home to the St. Louis CBG festival each year.

Bill Kunz of 61 has been generous in offering us a place to meet, practice, discussed ideas and what ever members decide to do with the time. Gary Herget and myself are contacts for this club and are open to ideas to make this a fun club. As soon as we have commitment from members, we can set up a Saturday each month to meet mornings. We haven't set a day or start time as of yet. We need to know who can commit at least to a start up and discuss as a group when and how we want to run this. Possibilities are great!

Totally cool more people came by and enjoyed the fun! Sorry I had to miss another meet. But looking forward to seeing everyone at the fest!

If you would like to be a vendor at the St. Louis fest there's still time to sign up. Contact Smilingdog for more info.

Is there going to be a build contest this year? I would really like to enter my now finished banjo or my guitar if so.

egyptpunk, I'd like to hear you play your new build up there at open mic. Sorry no build contest this round, but we do have exciting raffles you can win at.

Sorry, there will be no contest this year. There were too many other things to be done with the growth of the fest that we needed to eliminate some things. Hopefully we can bring back the contest next year. I hope you will be able to come and bring your banjo, who knows maybe we can get Justin to play it for you.

i wish i  could attend  ;-)

Come on down Pick, got lots of room. Just don't forget your passport!!

More prizes coming in for the festival from everyone. Play It Forward is a wonderful program for this years fund raising going on at the 2015 CBG festival. Please feel free to donate any kind of related gifts of any size. they will be added to a series of items that can be won from the ticket drum which will continue to pull out winners until all prizes are awarded. This gives participants more than one chance to win off any tickets they may purchase. I'd like to see all of you there having fun under the sun!

Headlining our 2015 Cigar Box Festival, we have the honor to present a live performance by Justin Johnson. I cannot say enough about Justin's ability to connect with the public and his openness to listen and share with everyone. Yes his musical talent is masterful on many levels. However, it is the ability to bring everyone into being part of his experience through his unique way of communication that's signifies this event. As always it is a pleasure!
