I've caught the CBG bug. I just finished my first build and had a great time and learned so much new information. I've done some freelance writing in the past and have been thinking about putting a project together and publishing something myself. I would like to put together a CBG magazine. I would like to get a sample digital issue together and put together a Kickstarter proposal to try to get funding for a print edition. Is there anyone out there that would like to contribute? It can be an article, how to column, photos, art , really anything you can think of. If you have any ideas please let me know. I'm also thinking it would be cool to offer a digital mix tape of mp3's with the issue. Any feedback would be appreciated. Message me here of cbgmagazine@gmail.com. Thanks.

Thanks Richey. I appreciate the offer and would definitely be interested in the pictures and how to article submissions. I want to start the magazine as a quarterly. I'm going away for the weekend so I'll post next week with some ideas. Thanks again and have a good holiday weekend.

amen

I've been listening to the new album. It's great ! If I can get this magazine together I'd like to add a review.

This is definitely NOT the sort of image we are looking for....!  (-;

sex sells... :-)

Call me old fashioned-but there's something about holding a book or magazine in your hand that just makes things more real. Happy to contribute if I can.

Wade

Thanks Wade. I'll definitely get back to you. I'm going out of town this weekend but starting Monday I'm going to start organizing ideas and get back to people.

maybe you could publish the magazine in PDF and us in other countries could print the copies off ourselves?  A5 size would make that a lot easier, many mags out there in small  format like Readers Digest reduce a lot of costs that way...just a suggestion (-:

i've been to quite a few music festivals the last few years and taken along guits for folk to play with and run a canjo workshop. this gets us into the festival free and meet loads of people.

 of late i've supplied a sheet of simple 3 string chords. an A5 pamphlet of 3 sheets A4 folded with more info, links etc would be very useful as i spend ages with FAQs

A mag on the stall would be a good point of interest then an interested visitor could peruse in their own time.an maybe come back...

wishing you success
