He`s not on the nation anymore but once in a while i run i to him on facebook. Back in 2009  this place was just being born ,we were lucky to have had 500 members and half of them never posted anything. You should check out surfys pic`s. Be surprized at what we came up with back in the day...!!  Back then we were more into building then filling this place up with a zillion vids, just seems it lost it`s true meaning along the way.

Thank you, I looked through her pictures already. That design is not what I am describing. I have tried looking through other builder/players to find the look I am typing about, no luck yet. I will probably try that design anyway and work around any issues.

I made a weed wacker bass with backwards tuners and it worked pretty well. The string holes need to be angled through the neck to ease the strings towards the tuners. You don't want to drill a 90 angle into the neck - the strings will cut into the wood. Hope this helps.
