No. 44 Inspiration

Just going through some of my CBG inventory, and happened to stumble over these tuners. With the recent addition of several skeleton keys from ebay, and this nifty box I uncovered, I may have a new theme build in the works! The box lid is pretty thick, so I'll likely add one of my mini-Elmar pickups too! Maybe even go with a bolt-on neck. Any suggestions, Uncle John?

Comment by Gary W aka Rev. Bluejeans on March 2, 2018 at 11:25am: Thanks, Alan! I'd forgotten this box, decided to sort through 'em and this one popped up. I think it'll work out fine. I doubt it'll ring too well acoustically due to such a thick top (guessing a full 1/4-inch of plywood). But the box is well constructed with finger joints. The little mini-flatpup from Elmar should work nicely.
