Thanks John, feel free to use an idea if you want ;} hopefully tomorrow I'm  going to  glue a brace to the back of the neck inside the box so I can notch the neck for a pick up, and route  a lip on the top for the plate to set into. then sand .... alot.

I'm going hunting for tuners and odd parts on monday so it might get some strings this week for a test run

Wonderful for not knowing what you are doing.   Strong box, easy to attach the plate,  great neck shape, stain and  head stock.  Should be good with that plate.   Plus you've given me a construction idea.
