I also used a reclaimed cabinet hinge for the tail piece and shotgun shell knobs on on some old fender pots. GItty parts were the soapbox pickup, zebra wood bridge, southbound strings, fret wire and tuners. The box was found in an antique store and was the exact dims as the plate.
I picked up a lasso that will eventually be the strap.

Just finished my 2nd build. The plate came from my wife's car in college. I found a 4' x 6' chunk of poplar at a reclaimed hardware store in north PDX that looks like it had been a bar top, it had bunch of bottle marks.
