Welcome Yohannah. It takes time to get the skill, so just keep at it. It's not about how good you can be at playing, it's about how much you like to play.

So, I'm headed to Melbourne, Florida in a week and a half.  I'll be catching up with a friend there who claims to have a CBG he's going to give me.  He can't tell me much about it - it might be playable, it might be a wall-hanger.  We'll see, I can't wait . . . .

Like Paul said , most are playable, plenty of help here, and a couple of very good guitar makers from here live in Florida, and they might be able to give it a look over

Among others, there's Ted Crocker in Stuart,[about 70 miles] from Melbourne, and G P Monroe, both make fine guitars and other stuff, both members here

Welcome Yohanna.   The lesson that got me going was knotlenny's CBG 101.   It is free and you can find it at page top.  Hover your mouse cursor over  'Resources'.   Beneath that, click on 'How to play'.   You can find that and other lessons there and for free.
