wiring??

Hi all its been quite awhile since I've been on here.

just started to finish off my white 3 string git that I started over a year ago.yes its been that long.lol

forgotten most things especialy the wiring bit and I dont know where I have put my instruction papers.

fitted a gold pick up with a volume control --to the jack.

now this is where things are not working so if kind guys put me on the right path it'll be much appreciated....

that will fix it. as you have it wired the volume is permanently at minimum and the pot wouldn't do anything.
