Hi John,

I use a volume pedal to a preset on the amp. (Fender G-Dec 15)

It's pretty much and echo/delay with reverb along with a little tremolo. 

Swell the volume pedal every so often along with a slow and maybe sparce groove. 

Put a volume pedal in front of any pleasing affect(s) of your choosing and have fun.

I also use a brass slide. Not sure if that makes a difference or not.

Also, using the bottom four strings from a set of 10's.

The higher strings will produce the violin tones. 

Will be another week or two for crabbing, but I'll be ready if they are.

What pedals or amp setting did you use to get that tone. It is so cool.  How's that eastern shore crabbing?  I hope all is well with you and yours.  Very good to 'see' and hear you.

Nice elegant sounds that have a requem on Jeff B ,swearling on a volume knob ,whitout touching it!
