AGP #521 – “Français Polonais”
3 String Fretless Guitar
Scale : 679.45mm / 26¾inches
Strings : .042NW / .028NW / .020PS /
Tuned: G D g
Done this build as a project for my first attempt at Traditional French Polishing with Shellac, instead of my usual sometimes Messy Brush On Method, and am extremely happy with the result.
The Box Body is Red Oak Veneer & Poplar 3 Ply, purchased some time back from my local Hardware Store, it’s marketed as being a very thin Veneer of Red Oak, and believe me, it is very thin, looks great, but don’t think I’ll be buying anymore, the Neck is Recycled Laminated Camphor Laurel and Tasmanian Oak, for this Build I wiped on 5 thin coats of Ruby Shellac.
A Prewired 8k Chrome Humbucker with Vol Tone and Jack are fitted, to allow me make Clean and Dirty noises through an Amplifier. :-)
