Comment by Uncle John on September 12, 2019 at 2:56am: Folks most commonly tune their 3 strings GDG. At page top is 'Resources'. Hover your mouse there and click on how to play. A wonderful starter lesson is knotlenny's cbg 101. You could also just google that.

If you play standard 6 string, tuning DGB is a great choice. Highlight the DGB strings on a chord chart and away you go. Good wishes.
