Mmmm, Licence plate guitar, I have an old Minnesota one in my workshop somewhere or other, so maybe I may go down the same road eventually... thanks for the inspiration...!!! I am in the middle of constructing a few instruments through the Winter months, so it may have a backseat for a while, but nothing ventured etc.... Good luck with yours, and I look forward to seeing a picture...!!!

been off the CBG scene most of the year due to a house move and associated DIY, about to start a licence plate guitar using this tasty Kansas plate picked up ay Boxstock 2018. Will post a photo of the finished article when done.

Sold 4, it was a small event, and people did not have lots of cash with them, sold a few Canjos also, not bad for a first attempt
Also, I had to compete with the stage which was next to me, and people could not hear them. But a lot of interest and possible future Christmas sales.
The pitch only cot £10 donation.
