Pre Amping With Induction Pickups

During the recent, discussions about the induction pickups, the topic of preamping was mentioned many

times, but never really explained, can anyone please enlighten me on this topic, as to what method would be used with a cbg especially in conjunction with the new induction pickups/

I have obviously seen preamp units on semi accoustics for use in conjunction with piezo,s, either rod or disk,

but not with pickups.

i would be grateful for any or all help in this regard.

Hi thanks for that, I will go down the pedal route. Just finished building
my first induction pickup, and have surrounded the magnet with epoxy resin.
So hopefully tomorrow when that's dry I will be able to test it.

I use an old sewing machine motor to do my rewinds.
