thanks Mike...the hubcap wasn't off a lorry. It was from a Morris 1800

That must be a hubcap off a Lorrie (or truck for the rest of us), that looks huge!  Good job you all, sounded really good :)

thats ok Dianne, and thanks Olivier..yeah it's a good way to learn. It's good to not know what's going to happen, and not to worry about the result and just enjoy it!!

@ Vinylhead, yep give it a try : -)

@Dianne - Lots of different versions I think. I hadn't heard of it until last night. Goes something like this:

Mama don’t allow no guitar playing around here
Mama don’t allow no guitar playing around here
Well we don’t care what mama don’t allow
we gonna play the guitar anyhow
Mama don’t allow no guitar playing around here

then just substitute guitar playing for anything you like : -)

@ Keni yeah it was really fun..you seem to know all the old songs!

Looks and sounds like a fun time was had by all. Mama Don't Allow is basically...My Gal or the Gospel version, This Train. Here is my take on them:

Thanks for sharing. Enjoy.
