Yea...just milk and vinegar.  They made plastic this way in the 20's and 30's.  Somehow formaldehyde was used too...have yet to find the formulation that included the formaldehyde.

Surely of all the people this board touches, there must be a chemist on board that can help us develop this.  I can see it being used in control knobs, pickups, decoration, etc.

This is a short demo of the hardness of milk plastic.  Milk plastic is made from 1 cup of frothy milk and 1 tablespoon of vinegar.  Mix the vinegar in and then strain off the solids.  Form into what ever shape you want and let dry.  Drying times vary...this is after two weeks, but I'll likely let it go another week or so before trying to form it into a nut.
