CCR songs are a lot of fun and I couldn’t agree more Danny! The Slingers have been surprised at many of the actual song lyrics and not just CCR. It’s a frequent topic of discussion whwn we do a song for the first time. We don’t like a void, so our minds fill in the unintelligible words with our best guess and sometimes we are way off. I’m reminded of the scene at the bar in the movie 27 Dresses, the song is Bennie and the Jets and everyone is singing a crazy variation of the lyrics! It’s a hoot!

Rockin into the early 70's love CCR they were awesome. At least if you could understand the lyrics the way Fogerty sang them

Thanks Uncle John! I have been putting more CCR songs in our songbook; they are usually very playable, often, like this one, only 3 chords.

Thanks Kale! I remember when this song was new. Zoom is certainly not perfect, but we try to make the best of it. We have had bigger glitches in our meetings like internet outages and mid meeting computer crashes. The surfing life …

When i see this one its more like Early Morning Play Radio  ,slingers Slinging ,waking up and playing along  ,step in hook up and Play along ! kind off  collectif ! whit beat master Doug on the steady strum !
