yup , its all TIN .. neck too ;-)

this little tin gem was made by a subdivision of teisco for sears in the 60’s , as a more affordable guitar for kids. Just an Acoustic tin guitar made to look electric with fake pickups etc .. .
as you can tell , i “ jerry rigged” it and added some attitude and electrified it .
.... i may never go back to cbgs now .. lol .
This thing is 20 pounds of fun in a 5 pound bag ;-)

Sorry My recording set up sucks , it sounds much better live . ;-)

i'll probably do some tweeking and swap out the strings etc .. later .. this was just a taste test ;-)
hope ya like it ;-)

Cool stuff, Pick.  I did not know that history on the tin gits and fake electrics.

this one still    works great as a slide ..  but does have that   lil  kink in the neck that  you see on most of them ., from  overtightening  .    its superisingly heavy too  ..  think there is a metal  bar  reinforcement inside  ..   its a hoot anyway . ;-)

imagine my grin   when i cranked the distortion  ;-)

Ya, these are cool little guitars. Unfortunately, like you noticed they did not survive too well. Those hollow metal necks just could not take the strain. Enjoy.
