Comment by Uncle John on October 14, 2014 at 1:24am: Thanks, Wes. The hat somehow seemed right for this. I've liked this song for close to 40 years. Mr. Kris is or was a heck of a song writer and a good story unto himself.

If anyone is playing along, I capoed 2, so I am really playing D, G and D. For some reason (like bad fretting skills) that old White Owl git never sounds right on D major.
