Where mystery and magic both dwell

Bug dressed up as a lady from the Bronx
Cars ran by, all horns were set to "honk"
Three old winos threw away their plonk

3.Wee scary faces ,stand at the door
And we have to choose trick or treat
Some wearing Jason masks , shuffling feet
Some dressed as Freddie and more
" Hey yelled Pick, its now that time of year
For the SwampWitch, to dance in moonlight clear"

4. Ducking for apples can be fun
But its candy and cash the kids seek
Its like being robbed, but without the gun
And from every bush they do peek
There's our Vinnie , he's dressed up as a bum
He's looking for coins , and he's smoking like a lum
He can't keep off the grass, he's got no nicotine gum

5.Now the light, it is getting low
And kids they all are abed
Its time for the real stuff, its face to show
That nitty gritty that adults all dread
There's old Clock, our man of mystery
Hands out flyers, for the aristocracy
He's a Transylvania Count himself you see

Many , I know, spat out currant bun
