Thanks John, it has been a favorite of mine since I was 15.. It seems to be a fitting season for this moody song.

LOL Uncle John! A ranchero IS what this one needs! Yes that is the doors.

Thanks TC and Jon!

Awesome Kevin! I like Ella Fitzgerald, the beastie boys, John Denver, The Ramones,  Black Sabbath, Willie Nelson, The everly brothers etc etc etc. I cant imagine only playing one genre. :)

Sammy, thanks! The electric (not electronic) piano is my beloved Wurlitzer butterfly baby grand. It is the rarer home model of the 200a that Ray Charles made famous with "baby what'd I say". The carpenters, Don Williams, modern Jazz, Rock And Country all still use this instrument. It has been a staple in many Genres for decades. You can look in my videos here for Billy Currington's song "good directions". In that video you can see the wurli. :). The camera is just a Fujifilm FinePix S8100fd. It is a 10 MP Digital picture camera on movie mode.

Love it, well done Paul, sorry for the ingnorance, I'm facinated at how you guys record your material. What instrument were you playing and what did you use to record it? Love the tone and the rich sound. cheers Sammy

Nice song and nice job.  Who wrote that old song, The Doors?  I like how you did it.  But it kind of needs a Ranchero.

Hi Paul.

What a very nice version of that song. Very contemplative which suits the lyrics perfectly. Great work as always.
