Don't remeber, but 17# of tension is what I always aim for. Might be DGD. But the shorter you go the faster the strings to get low tension right

just one quick question though. I am assuming that the tuning is G D G. Even though the strings are of a heavy gauge. Correct?

thank you so, they kind of have a mandola vibe, so get the Celtic thing. Building another pretty much like this one with aluminum cone for Mark Carter, maybe I can string it lighter and tune CGD
