JP Swenson! Just a thaught..If you are about to wash your TV..make sure to not have it plugged in! And when it´s clean..then you can watch it and practice,I´ve found out it´s easyer practicing, when your hands aint occupide with other things,as for example washing the TV. :-)

JP Swenson...,I totally forgot to tell you! I was visiting Minnesota Mike this morning at the home.He was standing outside by the mail box. He said he was standing there because the other was a little bit mad at him, because they all got wet mails that morning..He said; They dont really get it,anyone of them.Listen to this he said and sat down on his knees by the mail box. And he started playing it! He had made a one stringer of the mailbox, using the pole for it as neck,so then I understod the wet mail that made the others angry with him...And man WHAT A SOUND!!! Actually some of the angry ones forgot their anger and came from all over started to clap hands and some danced to! He´s got a real deap great sounding voice to (similar to your voice actually),I promise, that was a great moment,at the time the mail man sowd up on hes way back from his round,he stopped and listened to,when Minnesota Mike finished his song they all clapped their hands and some said,Minnesota Mike, please play one more song,The mail man went up to Minnesota Mike and looked first at the mail box and then at Minnesota Mike and said,-Dont make any changes at that mail box at all,I´ll bring you one for the mail tomorrow! I actually saw a tear in Minnesota Mikes proud eye then!At the time an old lade went ther and held his hand,he looked at me and said..well..we´ll have to play some other day, right now I´ve got some other strings to take care of,and he twinkled with one eye when he said that. When I was going he yelld,Hey, Tor! Get me one of those new JP Swenson Minnesota Honey Pickups as soon as they come out on the market! Thats what happened this morning,I must say that I am proud to have friends like you, and Uncle John to,for sure!

JP Swenson! Thanks a lot!! But I really dont desurve all that very kind words! Im really glad you like my CBG and playing,I promise if you want to play the way I do,all you need is probably a month or two doing what I try to do,(and am far from beeing good yet!) One thing that helped me out a lot (playing "better") is simply the dots on the fretboard, suddenly I wasn´t that lost, and could concentrate on playing instead of all the time have my mind on where am at at the same time!If you practice the thum going up and down the two thickest strings, maby when you wash TV or something, the thumb will do it automaticly within a week or two, then try out finding the melody at the thinnest string(or thinnest two strings if you play a fourstringer). When you found the melody on the thin string or if nessecery the (three-stringer)middle string, then you pick the melody and your thumb will go as an engin(bass) up and down in the background while you do your melody,if you need one of the"thumb-going strings for your melody then just skip thumbing it and leave place for the melody. This is just a rough try to explain it,it´s really not complicated(promise) And as with CBG´S this is just some kind of guide line, and not any rules what so ever!So the key is to thumb the base, all the rest comes easy, and it seems like you get the bluesy sound "for free" this way,it sounds better than my skills for sure!Hope yoy´ll try my amatour tip. :-) Thanks! :-)

When I say hairdo I am talking about our lack of, I shave my head also. Clocks picture is a tad off for the way we look. We're much prettier than that lady :-) By the way I like you're amp build also, it sounds great!
