LYRICS:

Fruit Lady

My heart is made of mango
and my fingers are ten ripe bananas.
My head's a big fat melon
and my toes are segments of a tangerine.

CHORUS
I'm the fruit lady, yeah yeah.
I'm the fruit lady, yeah yeah.
I'm the fruit lady, yeah yeah yeah yeah!

If I'm feeling hungry
I'll eat two of my fingers and grow some more.
And when I run too fast
my lychee eyes pop out and roll along the floor!

CHORUS

Sometimes I get sad and I cry
tears of lemonade.
I cry until I've filled a glass
then go outside and drink it in the shade.

CHORUS

A quick live demo of another song for our upcoming grandchild : -)...or anyone else (of any age!) who wants to listen and sing along.
Got to remember to take an apple with me now when I go busking for that "crunch" loop.
Played on a 3 string Cigar Box Guitar that I made. To see and hear more of that CBG see this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2tqLX_7sY8

Too much fun Belinda!!! Great song and a joy to watch, I got a kick of that fast chewing of the apple at the beginning to get it down before the vocals kicked in. At least I hope that was an apple, careful someone doesn't slip an onion in there while you're not looking ;-)

LOL at Wes's comment.   Fruit Loops are a kid's cereal in the U.S.

thanks John, ha there is no answer key, lol.

Oh a lychee is a Chinese fruit. Delicious and they look a bit like eyeballs when peeled!! See this song is educational even to Granddads : -) https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=lychee&hl=en&tbm=isch&...

That was absolute fun and come back for seconds.   Wonderful.  That's how to loop.   But where is the answer key for naming the fruits?   I think I got most of them.  And what is a lychee?
