there was no  magnet  , but the metal    was slightly magnetized ..  a  added an earth magnet  to   one of the poles to  give it a boost ..  it  does not seem to need  it any more .  you  could just rub   a magenet on  it for  awhile     and its good to go.

i love the sound and look. and now i have a million questions was there a magnet in the razor as well.   i have ttaken the coils out of ac adapters and made pickups but had to add a magnet is this similar.  god i love the scream in it

forgot to mention , the neck  is a "shadow "   from germany  - (new oldstock - unfinished  and bought from "bezdez" on ebay .)  i  just  painted   her up and  sanded  it down .

slow paw -"cutting  edge " lol ;-)

407bug . -  yup  i ran the wires   down the  truss rod channel  from the  pick up  to the  jack  .  i used an old   fat  patch cord ( fits nicely)   and connected it to the jack  from the back of the headstock .
