Cheers Jarmo - A good alternative to Ableton Live is Fruity Loops studio. Then there are sequencing packages like Cubase and Logic. But for a completely free audio recording, slicing and mixing programme you should take a look at Audacity.

Quite expensive softaware that Ableton, is there cheaper software which is somekind that than Ableton?

 

I have Creative SB X- Fi gamer soundcard in PC and there is many possibility too.

Thanks Slim. I'm using Ableton Live with a bunch of drum samples that I've sequenced to make the drum backing track. I really like playing along to some drums cos it helps me stay in time ;-)
