It's also run through a ux1 on vintage amp
With high gain and reverb
So some cheating too
Old head phone speakers work too!

No, just a LoFi mic. An elegantly simple solution.

As to your kind offer, can I 'take a rain check' on that (as our American cousins would say) as we have just had contractors in to change the phones at work and I think there may be an old one that they missed.

Steve its a telephone mic
You use the earpiece as a mic
And wire it to a jack
Works a treat and I love it!!
Just wait till you nee my new one!! I mean old one he he

Nicely sung and played. Interesting video too, hugely political from early 40s?

How has the voice been recorded to give it that 'vintage' sound? Always wondered how that was achieved.
