Joel, this is powerful stuff. Very very well played and sung. I really look forward to the day we can finally meet, John has told me so many good things about you that I feel as though I know you already :-) Looking forward to the day the 3 of us can sit down together, maybe a little jam on the cabin porch on the Missouri River can be arranged? I would enjoy that!

 @ pick : Nice of you to check in  ;-)    @ wes carl : Thanks !   @ Uncle John : Glad you liked it !   I liked the vocal parts of this song at a slower tempo , but was not happy with the lead at that tempo . The lead needs to evolve or I need to sing as frantically as I play .  Not sure which !       Hmmm.......  I would like to win the prize for farthest distance traveled at the next Iowa CBG fest .

Powerful.  Good.   Unsettling in the way good art can be.     I was tempted to say it would be better at slower tempo, but no, the fast pace conveys anxiety.
