Thanks for the input Kale! I had to give the Olivia Olson version a listen and it sounded good too! I used Mariah Carey’s version to learn the song; but I’m not sure the Slingers rendition would have turned out much different since both versions seemed pretty close to me from a melody perspective. Glad to hear you are getting in the mood. Many of the Slingers already have 54 Christmas songs under their belts at this point!

An interesting thought Uncle John! Although Mariah intended the “you” to be singular, it could just as easily go plural (don’t you love our precise language?). A big part of Christmas is about relationships, so the answer is Yes! Merry Christmas.
