Thanks for your comment Michael on my picture,i was given an old guitar from a friend,it had the steel parts of the bridge only,so i drilled a brass bolt to fit and it worked fine, though i changed the bridge on that cbg.i will keep it for another one..best wishes
Hi Michael. Glad to see that you joined the London group. I hope we can do something useful with it. Any time you are coming over just let us all know. All the best. John
Michael, hi. Yes I do sell my stuff on etsy. My wife runs the shop though and it is a full time thing, they don't seem to sell if you just list and wait. She puts in a lot of time on it, me I just build my guitars. : )
Michael -- Man! Beautiful work on your page! I may borrow your cotter pin string hold-down idea soon...
As for the calfskin head on my tackhead banjo, I got it from Stew-Mac. At $25, The most expensive part of the banjo by far. I may have to learn how to skin my own calves.
Hey Michael, thanks for the good words on my recent one stringer. I used poplar for this build, which I would not normally recommend... however, it's really cheap, and (for this build, at least) so was I!

Thanks for your comment, Michael. And, like you said to another guy, you can bet that I'll not stop building either, though I'll spend more time on the finishing next time as I now have something to play :-)

Thanks for the compliment on the sound holes on my 4 string, but you know what they say, Even a blind hog will find a acorn sometime.
Looking at your photos you do fine work.
